After the Sudden Loss of a Child.

At No Cost to Families

If you have experienced the unexpected loss of a child, we are here to help.

Register for our Bereaved Parents Workshop

Our Bereaved Parents Workshop brings together grief education, peer support, and professional facilitation. It is a place to better understand what grief is doing while connecting with parents who truly understand the experience of losing a child.

Understanding grief

Grief affects far more than our emotions. It can impact the nervous system, memory, concentration, sleep, relationships, identity, and how we move through everyday life. Psychoeducation gives parents language for these experiences and practical, evidence-informed tools for navigating them.

Connection without explanation

Child loss can be profoundly isolating. Peer support creates space to sit alongside other bereaved parents without needing to explain, minimize, or make grief more comfortable for anyone else.

Professionally facilitated

Each workshop is guided by an experienced clinician who provides structure, education, and support while honoring the lived experience and wisdom of bereaved parents.

What this workshop is

This is not group therapy. It is professionally facilitated psychoeducation and peer support created to help bereaved parents understand their grief, develop practical tools, reduce isolation, and feel supported as they learn to carry what cannot simply be “fixed.

How We Help Our Families

  • Care Partners

We partner with healthcare professionals, social workers, therapists, first responders, and other care providers who support families in crisis and often serve as the first connection to our services.

  • Service Partners

We connect families with trusted local businesses and professionals who are willing to donate services, offer discounted services, or prioritize scheduling for families during a time of grief.

  • Giving Partners

Giving Partners are businesses, organizations, and individuals who support the foundation’s mission through financial contributions, resources, community collaboration, and family referrals.

The Titus Scott Foundation serves parents facing the sudden, unexpected loss of a child providing steady, faith-neutral guidance, financial assistance, and compassionate presence so no family navigates the fog alone.
